ThistlegormOne day trip to Thistlegorm and Ras Mohammed. Thistlegorm is the most famous wreck of the Red Sea. It is 126 m long and lies at a depth of 30 m in a normal position. The ship itself, as well as the cargo, is still in excellent condition. The first dive is around the wreck. Here we can see railway wagons, a torpedo, anti-aircraft guns, propeller, anchor winch and a lot more. Many big fish live in and around the wreck. You can see, amongst others, huge schools of barracuda, snapper and tuna. The second dive is inside the wreck. Here you can see trucks, jeeps, motorbikes, ammunition, boots etc. The third dive is at Ras Mohammed National Park at Shark Reef and Yolanda Reef. This is considered one of the top dive sites of the Red Sea with spectacular corals and regular sightings of giant moray eels, turtles, napoleon fish, barracuda, snappers, etc...
